1. Risk Disclosure
EURO (EUR) is a decentralized cryptocurrency utility token deployed on the Ethereum blockchain. Holding, buying, swapping, or transferring EURO carries significant risk. By using this website or interacting with the token, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the following:
- Not an investment or security. EURO is a utility token. It is not a share, security, deposit, fund, bond, or regulated investment product, and it should not be treated as one. Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument.
- Not a stablecoin. Despite its name, EURO is not pegged to the euro, not backed by fiat reserves, and not redeemable for any currency. Its price is determined entirely by open-market supply and demand.
- Extreme volatility. The market value of EURO can change rapidly and can fall to zero. You may lose the entire amount you spend. Only ever use funds you can afford to lose completely.
- Irreversibility. Blockchain transactions are final. Tokens sent to the wrong address, to a malicious contract, or lost through a compromised wallet cannot be recovered by anyone, including EUROFI.
- Self-custody responsibility. You alone are responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, and recovery phrase. Loss of your keys means permanent loss of access to your tokens.
- No guaranteed liquidity. The ability to swap EURO depends on third-party decentralized exchanges and the liquidity available there, which can change or disappear without notice.
- Smart-contract and ecosystem risk. Smart contracts, wallets, bridges, and exchanges can contain bugs or be exploited. Decentralization removes intermediaries but also removes safety nets.
- Regulatory risk. The legal treatment of cryptocurrencies varies by country and can change. It is your responsibility to ensure that holding or using EURO is lawful in your jurisdiction.

3. Legal Notice & Entity
EUROFI is a decentralized collective. Day-to-day operations are coordinated through a legal entity registered in Costa Rica, corporate ID (cédula jurídica) 3-102-960698. This is a company registration confirming the entity is legally incorporated. It is not a banking, payment, securities, e-money, or other financial-services license, and it does not imply regulatory approval or supervision of EURO.
No official or governmental affiliation. EUROFI and EURO are independent and are not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or connected to the European Union, the European Central Bank, the eurozone, or any government, central bank, regulator, or public institution. The name "EURO" refers to this token only and does not represent the official euro currency.
